The 2 May 2012 has started the first project of National Civil Service Digital conservation of ancient music.
The main purpose of this project is to ensure the conservation and the public fruition of the musical properties of Ugo e Olga Levi Foundation, securing all the materials in microfilms and microfiches stocks, through a special program of digitization and cataloging.
Another target, largerly completed in the first period of service, is to adjust and develop the general address book and his database.
Has started as well a reconaissance work about Levi Property, the originary core of the today named Gianni Milner library, which aim is to reconstruct the historic course of its composition, focusing the musical interests of Levi family: collecting activity, the relationship with Gabriele d'Annunzio, proofs of hebraic music and film music: a little section who has been exposed during the recently study meeting entitled La storiografia musicale e la musica per film (may 2011), with its achievements [pdf, 3 Mb]. The bibliographical notes of every score have been included and they are available in the SBN OPAC.
